Average Class Size, 1 student. • Prepared two students to enter the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania International Executive Program by creating lesson plans based on the importance of semantics in the business place, fillers, and effective listening and communicating skills. • Developed task-based, CALL-centered and communicative lesson plans suited for each level of instruction that focused on uncovering and meeting the individual needs of each student which included, “listening for the message”, how to initiate and uphold basic chit-chat, politely expressing opinion and dissatisfaction in the workplace, and the importance of polite forms and auxiliary verbs for sociolinguistic hierarchy in business.
