Jan. 2003 - Jan. 2012Chicago, Illinois• Developed the go to market strategy for two annual conferences - an international conference of 5,000 scientists and a domestic public policy forum of 1,000 advocates – increasing marketing reach by more than 400% and attendance by 25% by implementing an integrated approach. • Oversaw development of communications and marketing materials across the organization, including a collateral library of more than 215 print products and several dozen digital assets. • Led the rebranding of two conferences and two key donor communication pieces across multi-divisional teams and vendors. • Served as Executive Producer for all Association videos, winning a 2012 Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago in the category of video news release for Alzheimer’s Disease Facts and Figures. • Led a team of six permanent staff members (project managers, writers, graphic designers and web editors) as well as contract employees and interns. • Managed external graphic design, web development, video and photography agencies as well as print and promotional product vendors.
