In the transport planning segment, we focused on airports where we: - Estimated the number of passengers and vehicles on the curbside and the airside based on the flight schedule - Developed the parking strategies for airside and terminal employees - Optimized the taxi pick-up facilities at the airport to improve passenger and driver experience - Conducted queueing analysis in the immigration, emigration, check-in, passport control and various other airport facilities As part of the transport modelling aspect - Analyzed the traffic survey counts to determine key hours and peak conditions for intersections and road links to illustrate the existing traffic conditions - Calculate the additional trips generated by a development and re-distribute the future traffic based on expected layout for external and internal junctions - Assess the junctions and road links using simulation software's - Conduct a parking requirement analysis to compare parking supply and demand - Provide recommendations in traffic impact assessment including any required mitigation measures - Conduct microsimulations for different traffic scenarios and analyzing the results to set a specific strategy to improve performance
