Oct. 2018 - May. 2019London, Reino UnidoMy duties ranged from researching to assisting in the drafting of newsletters, administrative tasks such as client interaction or bookkeeping, membership database keeping, and social media content creation. Main tasks and achievements: I started, carried out and oversaw my colleagues in the conversion of our database from the old Excel-based system to a cloud-based database (Zoho). Aided in the joint organisation of events with Working Groups and other members, particularly the meeting on Intersectionality and the meeting with the UTC, both of which included high-level speakers. Aiding with the transition to a new website: tagging and uploading publications and re-formatting the consultant’s database, among other tasks. Administer annual membership subscriptions and core grants from members: aided the coordinator with this process, tracking the progress of grants and administering the invoicing process for continuing and new members. Liaising with external stakeholders, particularly aiding the coordinator in doing this in the Member´s meeting that was organised with DFID speakers. Manage the monitoring and evaluation processes of the network: assisted with the M&E process of the member’s meetings, collecting responses and processing them in order to produce spreadsheets that reflected the general impression of members, aiding in identifying strengths and shortcomings of the meeting formats. Coordinate the production and dissemination of GADN briefings and policy reports: uploading and tagging all previous GADN and WG publications in the newly designed website. All membership processing, from initial responding to enquiries to invoice tracking. Successfully aided and oversaw the transition to our new Wave App invoicing system and have been in charge of monitoring the membership renewal process.

As it is a small firm, I also undertook the role of community manager, which gave me a good insight into the world of social media and how useful it can be during the International Development stages of a company. On top of this, I was in charge of office management. My main tasks and achievements included: Bookkeeping, budget projection drafting and preparing account books, books and pitches for potential investors to consult. Aid the CEO in the investors round that IDAWEN underwent on my second term in the company: setting up meetings with potential investors, minute taking, preparing of files, checking book and tax files were up to date. During my first term in the company, and aiding in their international expansion, I was in charge of liaising with clients in English-speaking companies, building up rapports and identifying sales opportunities, preparing reports for the CEO to decide on what leads to pursue.
