Oct. 2006 - Nov. 2010London, United KingdomReporting to the Global Head of HR (Thomson Reuters), this position has responsibility for the full end to end strategic and operational delivery of recruitment for Thomson Reuters, servicing a population of 15000. This incorporates permanent hires, management of contractor population , 3 graduate campaigns and internal mobility. • Manage senior stakeholders up to executive committee level. • Work closely with strategic business stakeholders to develop resourcing plans to meet strategic workforce performance, delivery targets / objectives
• On the project team post Thomson Acquisition to redesign the resourcing strategy to bring in line with new branding requirements in the UK
• Developed and implemented employee value proposition (EVP) and strategic vision for recruiting for the future of the new Thomson Reuters Brand in the UK
• Designed strategy to deliver to corporate diversity standards
• Responsible for delivering cost saving initiatives across all disciplines – Furlough projects, PSL review and margin reduction
• Implemented direct recruitment functions resulting in reduction of 3rd party agency spend.
• End to end recruitment software rollout - Led the project team on 2 key end to end recruitment technology platforms – Taleo and Fieldglass.
• Led the project team to complete a full overall of recruiting best practice across the Globe to incorporate a Social Media Strategy and redesign of careers at Thomson Reuter’s web portal. • Designed and implemented SLA’s to manage delivery of 3rd party performance and control. Resulting in a reduction in time to hire; cost per hire and an improvement in key stakeholder satisfaction.
