Played a key leadership role in elevating OluKai’s brand presence across surf, golf, fitness, fishing, and cultural spaces, ensuring sports marketing, creators, and events amplified brand storytelling and drove measurable business impact. Strategic priorities and impact included:
* Scaled athlete and creator partnerships from 2 to 24 contracted athletes in several months, launching OluKai’s first global sports marketing strategy across performance and lifestyle.
*Led mission critical partner relationships including Hawaiian Lifeguard Association, Polynesian Voyaging Society, Ritz Carlton Oahu Turtle Bay, and Eddie Aikau Foundation. * Accelerated brand visibility through marquee event partnerships (Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational, Palm Tree Festival, Merrie Monarch Festival, Duke’s OceanFest, 10+ wholesale events, fishing tournaments, and PGA Tour stops).
* Scaled and expanded owned event experiences, ranging from intimate community dinners to large-scale retail activations.
* Grew community and audience engagement, scaling Instagram follower acquisition 10x * Drove product trial and awareness with influencer-led product seeding, storytelling, and feedback into brand and product innovation.
* Initiated internal culture initiatives including an office fitness incentive, a "Meet the Legends" athlete meet and greet, & an improved internal comms cadence.
