Oct. 2015 - Nov. 2020São Paulo, Brasil- Played a key leadership role overseeing certain critical aspects of the development and execution of our business strategies during the planning, launch and growth phases of Netflix in Latin America.
- Grew the share of subscriber acquisition through Partner channels from 3% in 2015 to 58% in 2020 in total acquisition.
- Working closely with the other leadership team members and their staff, evaluated opportunities for accelerating subscriber and revenue growth through a variety of initiatives.
- Responsible for prioritizing, structuring and implementing digital partnerships roadmap with MVPDs and Telcos, IAP stores, device manufacturers, payment partners, and retail/brand partners.
- Negotiated and executed agreements to launch commercial offers and product integrations with the Top 30 Telcos and Pay TV Operators in LatAm to surpass +10M purely incremental subscribers through these partnerships.
- Under my leadership, Netflix has partnered with many of the world’s leading consumer electronics companies including Apple, LG, Microsoft, Nintendo, Samsung, and Sony and this ecosystem has grown to several millions of “Netflix Ready” devices in LatAm.
- Grew the overall marketing spend commitment from Partners, for launch and ongoing campaigns, to an annual budget of 2X the Netflix marketing budget in LatAm.
