Fluid Synchrony LLC, a biomedical startupMarketing Intern
Sep. 2010 - Jan. 2011Greater Los Angeles AreaFluid Synchrony LLC is a biomedical device startup that was a spinoff of the Biomedical Microelectronic Systems Lab at the University of Southern California where I had conducted research for a drug delivery pump. Our team took part in the Ideas Empowered Program at the USC Stevens Institute of Innovation, winning the competition with a funding grant of $50K. Having had hands-on experience in the development of the pump, as a marketing analyst, I analyzed and developed reports on trends in the animal and human medical device markets. I learned about the regulatory requirements and funding opportunities associated with a medical device startup.
