Just a quick experience overview: I started working on social media and grew my own insta account to 13k, was a microinfluencer for a few years, grew my tiktok to 60k, paying all my bills from social media, etc. (@sassafrass_ash) Then wanted to move on to managing other’s socials, so I managed my sister’s business TikTok and grew it from 0 followers to over 80k. My first social media job after that was with a boutique as their social media manager/clothing model for about a year before she got pregnant and decided to take a break- I started posting on my current social media page (@paradisebeautykc on Instagram) 2 years ago, and we had about 1700 followers. We’re at 9,292 now and will likely hit 10k this month. All content that was posted over the last 2 years, I have personally done. 95% of the videos posted over the last 2 years, I have come up with the content idea, shot, edited, posted, etc. including all the videos with the team. My boss has given me total creative freedom and I post about 5 times a week. I also have managed my hairstylist’s account for about a year, rebranded her page, and she’s gained about 800 new followers since I started. I also have creative freedom with hers and manage everything. (@hairby_meganoldroyd) I’m confident that I could easily recreate the same results with more social media accounts/brands as I have personal experience in the beauty industry and I’m also passionate about the industry itself.
