Senior Freelance Content Producer
FreelanceSenior Freelance Content Producer
Jan. 2015Los Angeles Metropolitan AreaFreelance Creative Content Producer for Beauline, Pop Pop (SheinX), Wild West Picture Show Productions for AT&T, attn: Beauline Media for Near East Couscous How to translate a full recipe into social media bites? This was to issue that I was intent on solving. In these spots for Pepsi Brands' Near East Couscous. We had only a limited amount of time to get everything we needed for all social platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, X, Facebook) with Tamera Mowry. By featuring Tamera naturally in her element of her home, we were able to bring out her personality and that alone made the spots so successful they ran for over 6 months on all platforms. Pop Pop Entertainment for the Shein X Fashion Design Challenge Shein's challenge was wanting to be seen as something more than fast fashion. So we decided the best way to do that was to feature unknown designers and show the talent behind the fashion. Premiering internationally across all social channels including Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok resulting in a deeply engaged worldwide audience. Wild West Picture Show Productions for AT&T Network "Undeniable" The challenge was aligning AT&T Content campaign goals in a way that felt authentic with the high profile athletes such as George Brett, Rod Woodson, Ray Lewis, and Cheryl Miller. The best strategy was marrying AT&T's brand message of "best in the field"/undeniable with the athlete's stories of how they became undeniable themselves.
Freelance Long Form Creative Producer
FreelanceFreelance Long Form Creative Producer
Jan. 2014 - Nov. 2022Los Angeles, California, United StatesFreelance Creative/Story Producer for Long Form including series, shows, and films. Selected projects: "United States of Arts" for the National Endowment for the Arts, "In the Spirit" for Sunny Side Up Productions, "What Am I Eating" for Max, "Chelsea Does Racism" for Netflix. FireStarter Studios, "United States of Arts", for National Endowment for the Arts For this series, we initially had to deliver 10 episodes in 8 weeks, which meant keeping in close contact with key stakeholders as content was developed quickly and getting approvals along the way, not typically the way it's done. I personally produced 37 of the (eventually) 65 episode series and our team was recognized for our work with 2 Emmy nominations and 2 Producers Guild Award nominations. Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), for MAX and Discovery+ Working with industry legends Jon Taffer and Robert Irvine in an all-out Restaurant renovation grudge match for Discovery+! Here I threaded the various twists and turns of the culinary competition that was carefully orchestrated, emphasizing narratives that tied up all the loose ends. Borderline Amazing Productions, "Chelsea Does Racism" for NETFLIX Dealing with divisive topics with humor and a touch of offensiveness (but never without honesty) is Chelsea Handler's modus operandi. Our team had to translate her onstage persona into a series of scenes that exploited (in a good way) her persona but also led to laughs and deeper understanding. The "Racism" episode was voted "best of the series' by EW magazine.
