Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Sales & Growth: Consistently achieved and exceeded regional sales targets for the past four years. Successfully shifted market profiles twice over eight years—first by reducing reliance on trade sales (75% of revenue at the time) and expanding the school adoption segment; later, post-pandemic, by transitioning from direct-to-school sales to distributor partnerships with strong, long-term allies. Global Teamwork: Collaborate as part of a truly global team, with colleagues located on different continents, ensuring alignment across markets while adapting strategies to local contexts. Partnerships & Alliances: Established and nurtured partnerships with local organizations, enabling, among others, the global distribution of Scholastic’s digital solutions via a Brazil-based LMS platform. Market Research & Product Development: Conducted in-depth market research to adapt catalog offerings in terms of school applications, pricing strategies, and teacher training. Created tailored products by adapting existing resources where copyright limitations restricted full use. Marketing & Positioning: Developed marketing assets to address market needs and strengthen Scholastic’s positioning in competitive landscapes. Client & Financial Oversight: Serve as the primary face of Scholastic in six countries, responsible for evaluating client portfolios, managing commercial relationships, and overseeing payment flows. Data & Strategy Mapping: Designed and maintain dynamic visual revenue and product maps using Power BI data, updated monthly to track performance by country, identify high-growth opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
