Within this role I recognised the need for ground support at our domestic airports and created turn support positions. I created and delivered the training material to selected on-airport staff. The purpose of the position was to improve OTP by assisting crew in turns. This was a resounding success with OTP increasing by 50%, cabin crew being educated on IFS and boarding practices resulting in a very good operation. The airline has decided to roll this initiative out to all major ports.
