Lorraine McGuinness is a dynamic Local Area Coordinator with over 4 decades of experience in social work, community development and public administration. Lorraine has worked as a practitioner, manager and lecturer in the field of social work; predominantly in Children and Families and Family Placement Teams since qualifying in 1998, prior to this she worked in social care both in the UK and abroad. Lorraine has worked as an independent social worker and consultant in the UK including as a Form F Assessor. She has a passion for languages she is fluent in Spanish and has conversational French and Italian. Outside of work she is a Reiki Master/Teacher and has practiced Reiki for over 30 years.
