Nov. 2012 - Jan. 2014San Francisco Bay Area- Created & ramped Google Shopping Express Field Operations team from 0 to 30 operators serving all GSX stores, including scheduling operators and supply runs, process developments, and metric tracking. - Developed field operations supply chain, including policies and logistics, eliminated emergency supply runs by 80% and stabilizing in store ops for all GSX locations allowing store ops to improve utilization and throughput. - Built procurement practices for GSX, including packaging design and production, as well as vehicle and electronic assets enabling the project to scale from ~200 orders to ~5000 per day in the Bay Area within 12 months. - Rolled out GSX mobile device tracking and procurement program enabling operations team to access the web, and internal operations apps. - Established vendor agreements for GSX pilot leading to public launch, reducing cost of bag packaging from $1.50/unit to $0.50/unit saving the business $500K. - Collaborated with team members to develop distinctive and patent pending GSX grocery bag bringing strong brand identity for Google to the physical space.
