Direct Accounting operations including GL, A/P, A/R, and close process with 3 direct reports. Prepare and post journal entries for A/R, payroll, premium, and A/P accruals. Post reoccurring journal entries, including prepaid expenses. Calculate and post monthly depreciation and maintain fixed assets. Close and consolidate 4 companies into parent company for Board of Directors financial reporting. Create monthly balance sheet, income statements, and variance reporting. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and 9 bank accounts. Conduct variance reporting for each department. Collaborate with department heads to address questions and reclass expenses as necessary. Oversee cost-benefit analysis on incentive trips and programs. Communicate extensively with executive leadership and operations team driving productivity and sustainability. Develop expense budgets with department heads. Participate in annual accounting audits and collect information for workers compensation audits. Support strategic planning and train teams to optimize usage of accounting software, Business Central and Net Suite. Write and update financial reports in Business Central. Manage special projects as assigned. Balance intercompany accounts for 3 business units. Research variances and post needed corrections. Verify payroll and benefits postings and all other pass-through expenses charged to proper business unit. Selected Skills:
