Aug. 2010 - Oct. 2011Work as a partner and support for field sales consultants in their respective territories in an effort to develop new business and increase sales volume among high need accounts, specifically those performing below $6000/yr. Make outbound calls to existing accounts and business prospects within a particular district to develop business partnerships and increase rapport. Develop and promote various incentives and promotions surrounding specific sales goals which included up-selling replenishment order, new product launches, product applications, special programs, and providing assistance with merchandising and educational needs. Take inbound calls from existing accounts/business prospects and provide leads to the respective Business Consultants which involves sharing a calendar and scheduling face-to-face presentations and meetings, and extensive product knowledge. Updating account data/business information such as changes in ownership, business location, updating legal documents, contact information, etc. using a sales database. Overcome technical and business objections to recommendations for additional sales. Emphasize sellable features, quotes prices and prepare sales orders for orders obtained. Order entry and processing using oracle database, which may involve verifying available inventory, confirming tax status, applying credits and/rewards, and performing sales transactions via telephone, email, or fax. Recommend educational programs and classes offered by Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute in relation to the specific needs of accounts. Build and maintain customer relationships. Liaison for assigned District Manager, Business Consultants and Inside Manager to maintain overall account status support which may include booking and supporting events, promotions within existing accounts, prospecting presentations, scheduling appointments, booking education, etc.
