I am a development professional with a foundation in strategic program management, policy development, and social innovation. Currently serving as a Programme Policy Officer at the World Food Programme (WFP) Egypt, I assist with the design and implementation of national nutrition and health initiatives that align with both global standards and local priorities. My work focuses on vulnerable populations, particularly women, children, and adolescents, through programs such as the “First 1000 Days,” school-age nutrition, and iron fortification. I bring extensive experience in cross-sector coordination, capacity building, and data-driven reporting, ensuring that programs are impactful, scalable, and sustainable. I also hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Education from Columbia University, where I specialized in Social Entrepreneurship and Venture Creation and Spiritual Healing and Psychology. My academic journey reflects a deep commitment to understanding human development and creating innovative, mission-driven solutions to social challenges. I also earned a Bachelor’s in Economics with a minor in Psychology from the American University in Cairo, equipping me with a multidisciplinary lens that bridges policy, economics, and behavioral science. With a career spanning international organizations, grassroots initiatives, and community-based innovation, I am passionate about advancing equity, empowering youth and families, and leading transformative change across systems. I speak English, Arabic and German fluently and have fair knowledge of French.
