Feb. 2020 - Jun. 2022Washington, District Of ColumbiaLead DT Institute’s proposal development processes including identifying opportunities, leading bid decision meetings, conducting capture, working closely with technical teams to design compliant and cutting edge solutions, and writing proposals (including developing budgets and monitoring and evaluation plans) for USAID, US Department of State (CT, DRL, NEA, JTIP, INL, GEC), Global Affairs Canada, GIZ, and IOM funding opportunities - Contributed to winning $20 million in new programs in DT Institute’s first two years Interim BD Director during Director’s leave (December 2021-March 2022) during which time I managed the development and submission of 13 proposals; Led desk research and local stakeholder interviews to inform the design of P/CVE programs in Mauritania and Mozambique; Led the design of P/CVE programs in Iraq, Mauritania, Mozambique, and Pakistan; Provide technical expertise to DT Institute’s P/CVE philanthropic initiatives; Represent DT Institute as P/CVE expert in meetings with clients, partners, grantees, and in community of practice working groups; Conduct research and thought leadership activities to strengthen DT Institute’s P/CVE practice with a focus on the intersection of climate change and violent extremism; Lead the expansion of DT Institute’s P/CVE, conflict resolution, and rule of law programming; Contributed to the design of DT Institute’s Stabilization, Transition, and Peacebuilding strategic plan; Conducted market analysis and review of US Congressional Budget Justification and supported development of DT Institute’s three year strategy; Developed DT Institute’s business development internship program and managed interns; Develop and facilitate DT Institute’s business development training program
