SEAVINSite Manager
Oct. 2005 - May. 2012EgyptIn the position of Site Manager I was the de-facto Manager in all areas. I was responsible for all HR and employee relations with over 100 employees. I handled all HR functions including community services programs, and morale and welfare of company employees. Managed all aspects of the employee community relations, provided HR consulting, coaching and HR subject matter expertise. As the Site Manager I had management responsibility for resolving employee relations issues and directed supervisors in maximizing employee morale, retention, and productivity. I managed all budgets including the self sustaining budgets for the site dining facility and convenience store. I also managed the site staffing budget, including overtime and holiday budgets.
As the Site Manager on the Personnel Support Services (PSS) Contract, we provided support for most aspects of daily living in the Arab Republic of Egypt (ARE) for PSS supported personnel. PSS supported personnel included both permanent and Temporary Duty (TDY) official Americans (US Civil Service and US Military members) and contractors (to include expatriate PSS Contractor employees) who directly support Egyptian Air Force (EAF) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs or other agencies as agreed to by the EAF and US Government. While the PSS Contract performed the bulk of its services in support of PSS supported personnel under EAF FMS cases, PSS support is also provided to personnel who are funded by other sources, e.g. by the Egyptian Land Forces (ELF) and FMS case funds administrative surcharge.
The PSS Contract provided housing, offices, furnishings, appliances, utility services, information technology services, vehicles, driver services, medical care and security services for all eligible US Military, DOD Civilians and contractors, and their dependents. The program also included access to convenience stores, dining facilities, fire services, and a variety of recreational facilities.
