Jan. 2014 - Apr. 2015Barnet• Producing and providing evidence of strategies to a wide audience of professionals and stakeholders to demonstrate raising standards in teaching and learning. • Regularly deputising for the Head of School and managing the whole school in their absence. • Key team member on development panel for a new primary school and nursery provision with associated children's centre • Development of a new curriculum in collaboration with SLT, ELT and all staff and children • Representing the new school to key stakeholders,parents, carers, children and the community. • Delivering and sustaining significant, quality whole school improvement. • Using data to improve outcomes at whole school, group and individual pupil level. • Strategic direction and development of the school including SEN and Inclusion provision. • Leading the inclusion agenda at both strategic and operational levels Responsible for developing and implementing innovative improvement strategies including personalised curricula, nurture group provision, skill based assessments and parenting support workshops. Designated Safeguarding Lead, dealing with a complex caseload Leading a large inclusion team Running interventions, EAL support, Leading annual reviews, family support work, PEPs and CAFs. Developing children’s learning and emotional well-being through a range of collaborative strategies and activities (e.g. joint planning meetings, CAF, classroom support, alternative provision) Specific responsibility for inclusion in its widest sense, ensuring every child achieves (according to their own level of need), no matter what and with no exceptions. Engaging with vulnerable families and external agencies in order to formulate a package of support. Being an outstanding classroom practitioner Leading staff meetings and staff training Leading by example on positive behavior management strategies and devising new strategies for the new school.
