By building relationship and keeping up to date with business activity, this partnership approach ensured that the Company maintains a focus on all HR activity within these business areas. I was responsible for ensuring the continued support to Divisional, Desk and Team Heads as well as general senior management for people agendas. - Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and advice on HR policies and procedures that comply with current UK employment legislation, ensuring best practice is followed and implemented in a fair manner. This included producing, maintaining and monitoring HR policies and procedures to ensure they were being implemented and applied. - Advised and provided assistance to managers, Desk and Division heads on HR operational issues such as employment law, recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, expatriation, repatriation, secondments, transfers, promotions etc. in line with HR policy and current legislation and ensure all queries were responded to in a timely fashion. - Responsibility for management of recruitment activity, disciplinary and grievance situations as well as redundancy processes. - Managed and facilitated various HR projects for my specific business areas including Talent Management nominations, annual compensation review, annual headcount budget process, annual engagement survey results communication and action planning as well as oversaw the integration of processes and people following a joint venture and other acquisition transactions.
