The Publications Fulfillment process is a $5 Million annual contract responsible for distributing all printed CDC materials to customers globally (86 Million items over the last 10 years) o Discovered flaws in system integration and data integrity, including numerous manual processes o Mapped all current processes and procedures o Created a complete project plan for the redesign of the CDC-INFO Publications Fulfillment Application (Publications Administrative Tool 2.0) to build in much needed efficiencies and technological improvements o Built strong cross functional relationships by conducting over 100 hours of stakeholder interviews and engagement meetings ensuring that the redesign would meet stakeholders’ diverse needs o Analyzed every procedural step of the inventory, ordering, distribution, and archival process o Designed, in its entirety, a new web-based application to replace the existing system including authoring all technical requirements and producing complete visual models of the proposed system o Lead meetings with the IT team to ensure a successful development cycle and collaborated on the architecture of a new Publications Database o Designed and executed project completion plans, system testing plans, rollout and training procedures, and next steps for the CDC-INFO Publications Fulfillment Team Additional Responsibilities: o Provide documentation for existing processes and procedures, and work with relevant staff to develop necessary new processes or procedures to ensure successful and optimal daily performance of CDC-INFO o Develop, maintain and execute project plans and develop risk mitigation strategies for CDC-INFO projects o Monitor all reports/deliverables, and triage concerns to appropriate CDC-INFO staff
