Use an ASM instance to manage the database storage. Setting up FRA for a database and enabling flashback database. Renaming a database using the CREATE CONTROLFILE REUSE command. Use Transportable tablespaces to do a cross platform upgrade of a 9i small endian database on a Linux OS to a 10g big endian database on a Solaris OS.
