Recorded incoming and ACH receipts (30-40 transactions/month) and trained new hires on process. Prepared and reclassified journal entries (up to 100k lines at a time), completed monthly/year end bank recs (up to 10 individual accounts, each covering 1000’s of homes), and maintained balance sheet account reconciliations. Reconciled Virtual card accounts, “Other” Accounts Receivables, and Partial Payments of 4 different large volume accounts over 8 different portfolios. Assisted members on a monthly team project of Rent Turn Maintenance (RTM) Market Payable Review by collaborating with Marketing Team members and approved or disapproved field team recommendations on 5 markets of 200-5000 monthly transactions to determine Capitalization or Operating Expense designation. Reviewed,investigated, and resolved outstanding payments to contractors and AR for variances.
I created an updated training template page for Rebates which allowed new hires and seasoned employees to pick up the task with minimal training and a reduction of follow up questions. Minimized prep time by approx. 20mins for Virtual Card JEs by creating a template that reduced research time. Assisted corporate team by providing correct classification support for Concur upload on a weekly basis.
Performed Concessions related to a large volume of properties and executed full amortizations and adjustments, then completed the write-offs for each concession as well as the reconciliation of the account. Aided Accounts Payable department in preparing invoices to pay large volume vendors and reviewed, approved, and created monthly actual and estimated accruals to match invoices and classify them properly for payments.
