Jan. 2006 - Aug. 2009West Palm Beach, Florida AreaSuccessfully managed a $1.5 M warehouse project for Rooms to Go as well as an $8 M high school addition for the School District of Palm Beach County. Both were completed on time and within budget.
At the beginning of the project, responsibilities included pre-construction estimating, obtaining permits, subcontractor bid solicitation and review, and negotiating subcontracts. During the construction process, responsibilities included creating and maintaining the budget and the schedule, all Owner communication, including monthly pay applications, reviewing Submittals, Requests for Information and Change Orders. At the conclusion of the project, responsibilities included the construction punchlist, closeout documents and warranty program. Introduced the company to the green building movement by mentoring and training 30+ employees to become LEED Accredited Professionals through the U.S. Green Building Council.
Implemented and carried out all aspects of the LEED certification process on a $43 M Federal Courthouse in Ft. Pierce, FL
