Secured grant funding for fiscal years 2024–2026. Led a comprehensive graphic rebranding initiative for the organization. Established a paid internship partnership with Mississippi State University for North DramaFest. Implemented a volunteer recruitment program and donor mapping strategy as part of the organization's Long-Term Strategic Plan. As Executive Director, I am responsible for overseeing the administration, strategic initiatives, and daily operations of the Mississippi Theatre Association (MTA). My role encompasses governance, financial development, communications, and event management to advance MTA’s mission and outreach. Key responsibilities include: Serving as the primary liaison for all organizational correspondence and public inquiries. Maintaining comprehensive business records, including officer and festival chair manuals, financial reports, and membership databases. Identifying and securing funding sources to support MTA’s programs and operations. Organizing and executing all MTA special events and meetings. Assisting the MTA Convention Host in planning and executing the annual MTA Convention, including: Coordinating, printing, and distributing all convention documents, including the official program. Managing convention registration processes and organizing materials. Procuring trophies, awards, and event-related materials. Acting as the primary liaison for the convention hotel. Supporting local arrangements personnel to ensure seamless event execution. Coordinating hotel accommodations and travel logistics for festival adjudicators and special guests. Partnering with local businesses and vendors to enhance the convention experience. Maintaining and updating the MTA website to ensure accessibility and engagement.
