Jul. 2016Working in the Real Estate team of Subsidiaries Management. • Reviewing, analysing, and reporting on technical/due diligence reports on all projects, and provide insights into costs, schedules, risks, and plans, in order to recommend/support QR's commercial decisions. • Working to ensure adequate budget is included for all renovations, repairs and maintenance and oversee/track expenditures to keep operations running smoothly. • Reporting, coordinating with internal & external parties and follow up to completion to ensure targets (results, timelines & quality) are met. • Identifying, documenting project risks and project/transaction issues, tracking and actioning until completion, including but not limited to risks/issues that are commercial, delivery-related, etc. • Working with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Procurement, etc.) and external consultants and specialists (hospitality management companies, lawyers, tax, project managers, etc.) on Due Diligence, recommendations, management updates and presentations. • Managing, tracking & reporting on multiple projects (acquisitions, ongoing operations, holding companies setup, etc.) and coordinating various activities with internal & external teams. • Assisting with preparation of material for Board meetings, summaries, action items, etc. • Initiating and conducting research on hotels leads – covering all aspects such as brand recognition, location, inventory, overall guest satisfaction, services & facility, identity direct competitor • Preparation of management documents, presentations, summaries, reporting. • Reviewing management contracts and deliver comments highlighting any risk • Ensuring issuance of minutes of meetings, track action items, and escalade issues for resolution. • Ensuring all invoices are approved & paid, with ongoing tracking, reporting & escalation.
