Research, create, and deliver relevant training to library staff on operations, professional development, and library policy.
Lead a team of Programmers in developing and carrying out programming that is relevant to the community, based in partnerships, and creates conversations. IE: Banned Book Club, hosting Amberley
Snyder, Black History programs, and ASL classes including program interpretation.
Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to determine the effectiveness of programs and campaigns to make informed data-driven decisions on library operations.
Obtain and utilize feedback to create improvement plans for staff, grow as a leader/manager, improve library programs, streamline library processes, and strengthen community partnerships.
Represent the library in community events, television interviews, radio/podcast interviews, stakeholder/partnership meetings, and library programming.
Coordinate and carry out operations of a public organization: applying for grants, tracking financials, building partnerships, scheduling, maintaining staff and patron confidentiality, and researching and
writing policy.
Support for the Executive Director across library functions such as board meetings, by creating and providing reports on the library, and advocating for staff.
