Jan. 2017 - Jan. 2021San Juan, Pr, Puerto Rico- Prepared dashboards and reports of COVID-19 positive cases and vaccines for Popular CEO Ignacio Alvarez, and Chairman of the Board Richard Carrion to provide visibility of its effects on the Popular workforce and to ensure informed decisions related to protecting Popular from the pandemic’s worst effects. - Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for improving the Our People Service Center performance metrics by decreasing the average handling time by 28% and decreasing the referred ticket aging by 82%. - Led the analysis, development and implementation of all of the changes related to the 2017 Labor Reform, placing Popular at a competitive advantage in what it offers in terms of employee benefits. The implementation also led to cost savings of up to $900K. - Involved in the key decision making of the Our People Operations management through consistent data analysis, preparation of reports, monitoring of key performance metrics and the coordination and development of strategic projects to improve efficiency. - Collaborated with the Popular Legal Department in the analysis of legal changes related to all employee benefits. Managed the implementation of new employee benefits, including the extended maternity and bonding leave. - Collaborated with Our People in various strategic projects and initiatives including the 2018 integration of Reliable Auto, the Contingency Plan, the New Employees Orientation, and the special task force related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which analyzed employee data and presented proposals to the Popular Senior Management Team on how to adjust to the crisis. - Served as the main risk assessor for all Our People and the main risk and compliance analyst for Our People Operations
