Shawn Beasom has over 30 years experience teaching English as a second language at the university level in Japan. He has taught in diverse subject areas such as literature, writing, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, presentation, English for Study Abroad and business English. He has taught from beginner to advanced levels. He has an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in TESOL from Columbia University. He has worked and studied in the U.S., France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Japan.
