KENNEDY CREATIVEFounder, Fashion Editor & Creative Director
Sep. 2018 - Jul. 2024New York City Metropolitan Area + Global + Barcelona I didn’t set out to build a studio — I set out to create. I'm an artist! I began as an independent creative –– honing my skills first as fashion editor and stylist, moving through editorial and brand work with a multifaceted, soul-driven approach. Perhaps the most pivotal point? I got the call to style Rihanna for The FADER’s landmark 100th issue cover — a rare invitation that became a life lightning bolt. I soon after became Fashion Editor-at-Large FADER, arguably one of the coolest, most culturally influential magazines of its time. It truly was special era. From there, I shaped visual worlds for Nike, Adidas, Apple, Netflix, Dior, Valentino, Burberry, Converse, Estee Lauder, and many others— crafting stories that lived beyond the screen and helped shape global culture at large. Expanding my role both behind and in front of the camera, I stepped into film directing– first FADER then NYX, Teen Vogue, WNBA’s WE ARE THE W– and for the first-time took on a dual role for a Nike x Naomi Osaka’s holiday campaign — serving as on-camera host while also creative directing behind the scenes, fully shaping the campaign’s narrative and visual identity. Another of note: A month long consulting Nike’s Rm72, to launch the rebranded Nike Sportswear logo . I also became the first creative invited to incorporate non-Nike vintage/ non-current collection pieces, letting my vision run wild. I designed one-of-one pieces for 70+ VIP guests, all custom-tailored to their unique style and personality, through observation & client briefs. I oversaw every detail of the space — from immersive design, towering inspiration walls to a nine-hour hand-placed playlist. In that era I began working on branding, websites, and visual identity for nonprofits and other organizations — a wide range of creative endeavors that laid the groundwork for what would later become KENNEDY CREATIVE STUDIO. My ethos? Lead with soul. Think beyond trend. Build cultural currency that outlasts the moment.
Fashion Editor-at-Large, the FADER
The FADERFashion Editor-at-Large, the FADER
Jun. 2015 - Dec. 2019Greater New York City AreaI stepped into role of Fashion Editor at Large shortly after styling Rihanna for FADER's landmark 100th issue cover — a pivotal moment in my career that opened the door for me to shape the magazine’s fashion and cultural narrative at the intersection of music, style, and popular culture. As Fashion Editor-at-Large, I played an integral role in defining The FADER’s cultural influence and visual identity. I was deeply involved in selecting, conceptualizing, and styling cover stars — including early support of artists like SZA — and crafting editorial concepts and stories that seamlessly blended fashion, music, and "what’s next". My work inspired countless emerging creatives to pick up a camera or start telling their own stories, as I've been told more than once. The details: I expanded the fashion department, scouted and championed emerging talent, and conceptualized new editorial ideas each issue. I styled cover stories and features with Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Serena Williams, Rema, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, SZA, and more — collaborating with some of today’s most sought-after artists, photographers, and creative teams. I oversaw fashion direction, managed budgets, built creative teams, and developed narratives that left a lasting cultural imprint. During my time at The FADER, I also directed my very first film for Cornerstone Media (The FADER’s production arm) — a holiday short I pitched featuring Baltimore’s Cardinal Sheehan School Choir. It was greenlit within a day of delivering the treatment. I then facilitated and secured brand partnerships for all featured clothing, creating striking visuals and successfully pushing to have everything donated afterward to the wonderfully talented, but extremely under-resourced youth featured in the film.
Fashion Editor / Market Editor
Bloomberg BusinessweekFashion Editor / Market Editor
Sep. 2013 - Aug. 2016New York City Metropolitan AreaMy first Bloomberg job was that of a one-off stylist, faced every possible challenge on day one — no samples, no cohesive pieces, no support — and turned it into a successful, print-ready shoot on my own. Transformed that moment into a long-term freelance editor role, evolving into both Fashion Editor and Market Editor. With my big picture vision I built Bloomberg’s first dedicated fashion division/ fashion closet from the ground up, creating processes, infrastructure, while defining a fresh new editorial voice tailored to Bloomberg audience while garnering a new wave of support as well. Developed forward-thinking stories that felt aspirational yet accessible — from seasonal fashion issues to makeover features empowering real people. Mastered the full aesthetic spectrum, from conservative to boldly editorial, and earned the trust of major global brands who once said no. Expanded creative vision into Bloomberg Pursuits, cementing Bloomberg’s reputation in fashion and lifestyle spaces. Honed creative voice and found skills of being malleable, having range that allows me to be adaptable, and learned ways to bring my resourcefulness and resilience to creative projects of all kinds Proved that with vision and resourcefulness, challenges become opportunities — and cultural impact follows.
