Developed recognition programs such as Employee of the Month and Perfect Attendance Awards. Implemented an internal application process, creating growth opportunities for employees within their areas of interest and expertise. Fostered employee focus groups to guide the efforts of the business and give employees a voice in that change. Implemented Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator-style testing and analysis with new and existing managers to provide insight and opportunity for introspection while guiding personal and professional development. Designed and implemented an attendance control program, rewarding hourly, nonexempt employees for perfect attendance each quarter. Nearly 40% of active, eligible employees achieved perfect attendance in the program's first full quarter. Developed and implemented a new progressive discipline policy that provided managers and employees with very clear expectations for performance and conduct while at work. The policy also provided clear details regarding how progressive discipline would be administered, depending on the infraction. Developed and implemented a talent acquisition strategy and renegotiated staffing and recruiting contracts, significantly reducing YOY talent acquisition expenses. Migrated annual performance reviews from a paper process to a streamlined digital process in the company's HRIS. Used the new programming to foster direct correlation between the results of performance reviews and annual increases and bonuses.
