• Worked with Festival Manger to determine the volunteer workforce required for the festival and special events.
• Worked with Festival Manager in identifying volunteer team leaders for each function and update or develop job descriptions for all volunteer positions.
• Worked with team leaders to schedule volunteers. • Organized volunteers orientations and supervised and provided support to all volunteers during the Festival, was a central point of contact for volunteers.
• Worked with Festival Manager to develop and implement training to prepare returning and new front-of-house volunteers to contribute to an excellent festival experience for all festival-goers (if needed).
• Ensured volunteers are prepared to assist audience members in meeting accessibility needs including ASL, wheelchair accessibility, etc.
• Ensured volunteers are in place and executing their assigned roles.
• Fostered an organized a fun environment that enhanced the festival experience for the audience, guests, and volunteer teams.
• Logged all volunteer hours and managed free pass allotment.
• Provided wrap up and completion materials.
