I have travelled throughout Asia and Australia gaining my knowledge and experience in these areas and my PhD examined the lived experiences of those living in the community after their spouse was admitted into an aged care facility. The result is a model of transition based on those experiences that will enable people who are admitted into aged care, their loved ones and other key stakeholders including staff to better understand this experience. This is in addition to my Masters Degree in Aged Care Management, Masters in Professional Education and my Graduate Diploma in Gerontological Nursing. My team at Lisa Jane DDC are committed to assisting all those who are living with dementia, as well as improving care for people receiving aged care services. We currently provide consultancy and education/training tailored to each organisation/ audience and soon will be expanding to assist NDIS clients and providers.
