Developed and deployed a new automation suite for change and release management including processes and systems for managing code releases, supporting application deployment, web content and database changes. The implementation of this process and system reduced the code deployment times from 30 – 45 minutes to 10 – 20 minutes and reduced the risk of human error by 100%. Once implemented, this solution supported parallel development and testing for multiple ecommerce projects. The initiative resulted in a 3-fold increase in project releases over a 6 month time period while maintaining the same level of quality.
