This involves critical project planning and strategic execution, with a role spanning over a decade in directing operations and managing key accounts. Proposal Management: Manage the process of receiving and reviewing funding proposals, ensuring thorough evaluation and alignment with the foundation’s mission and donor intent. Due Diligence: Perform due diligence to verify the accuracy of data and assess the worthiness of projects for funding, ensuring compliance with the Charter and Founder/Donor's intent. Board Presentations: Present eligible proposals to the Awards Committee and Board of Directors for approval.
Post-Funding Follow-Up: Follow up with awarded recipients to ensure that funds are utilized in accordance with proposals and contracts, adhering to Expenditure Responsibilities. Candidate Identification and Engagement: Identify potential candidates for funding, engage with them, and develop project proposals that align with Prometheus's charter. Grantee Relationship Management: Maintain engagement with grantees post-funding, fostering a symbiotic relationship within Prometheus's network of grantees to scale successful projects and roll back underperforming ones. Diplomacy and Cultural Understanding: Utilize diplomacy, cultural understanding, and patience to manage relationships and ensure the success of funded projects. Global Impact Expansion: Since the foundation's inception, expanded funded projects to cover all inhabited continents and a total of 84 countries, involving a diverse range of nonprofit organizations including NGOs, think tanks, policymakers, and student organizations.
