Collaborate with the Board of Directors to create long-term strategic growth plans for the organization. Serve as a resource for the Board on issues that impact ABOMS and champion the organization’s mission and vision. Oversee all staff hiring, training, development, and coaching for a team of seven administrative employees. Partner with the VP of Human Resources on benefits, payroll, 401(k), and employee compensation. Serve as the main liaison and point of contact for national and international partners such as insurance companies, international boards, and associations. Manage communications with diplomates related to credentialing and examinations. Coordinate and execute logistics for qualifying exams, oral certifying exams, recertification exams, and the COMSSAT in collaboration with the Examination Committee and external vendors. Partner with SMEs in the field to identify relevant examination metrics and determine testing topics. Develop and maintain financial and accounting records, create financial performance forecasts, and monitor the investment of funds. Manage logistics for annual audits of financial activities. Collect and track ABOMS revenue from applications, examinations, and annual registrations fees. Oversee compliance with local/national regulations and ensure adherence to industry best practices. Consult with the legal department to develop governing documents such as policies, bylaws, employee handbooks, and examination guides.
