The beginning of her career saw her employed in marketing and management roles in Niagara’s publishing industry where her responsibilities included development of community partnerships with many of the region’s largest business, tourism and event organizations. As founder and principal of Alderson and Company, and now a partner in the merged entity of Loud+Clear, Chris has consistently utilized her talent for clearly defining objectives to identify the communications solutions that best work to meet client needs. An analytical nature allows Chris to bridge the gap between intellectual and artistic approaches to communication, ensuring creative cohesion with strategic directives. She brings to the Loud+Clear team extensive visual communication experience, which has earned her a strong reputation for creating marketing plans and campaigns that achieve results. With strong ties to the community, Chris has dedicated much of her time and work to branding and social marketing initiatives, and has also worked on many provincial, regional and local marketing campaigns for clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Chris has been a champion of Niagara entrepreneurs since 1993 when she founded the Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and has remained active in the organization through its 25 year history. In 2019, Chris joined Entrepreneurs' Organization to launch Canada's 15th chapter of this member-driven, global organization of over 14,000 entrepreneurs. In 2009, Chris received Niagara Women in Business, Woman of the Year Award, and in 2018, she received the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Award for Entrepreneurship.
