She began her career in magazine publishing in 1985, focusing on advertising and management, and went on to launch her own agency in 1994. Over the next 27 years, she led three successful iterations of her business, culminating in her role as a partner in Loud+Clear, Niagara’s largest full-service marketing firm. In that role, she led cross-functional teams and worked with clients across tourism, wine, public sector, and non-profit industries. Deeply committed to the Niagara business community, Chris has also provided advisory support to new entrepreneurs throughout her career—championing local innovation, growth, and business resilience. She founded the Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 1993 and remained an active leader with the initiative for 25 years. Her contributions have been recognized with the 2009 Niagara Women in Business – Woman of the Year Award and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Women in Business Award for Entrepreneurship. Since exiting agency ownership in 2021, Chris has focused on strategic marketing consulting for a select group of clients. Her work includes marketing strategy and planning, guiding and building marketing teams, overseeing execution, and supporting campaign development.
