The project is focussing on parliamentary design and change in 25 european states throughout the last century. Project is lead by PD Dr. Ulrich Sieberer, and assisted by Phd-fellows Peter Meißner and Julia F. Keh, sponsered by the German Research Foundation and the German Excellence Initiative.
Task involved identifying changes and coding content of changes in legal documents on parliamentary standing orders. Further, coding the the content of the entire document of standing orders from 1949-2010. Coding has been done with the use of several different coning schemes, and is based on a application of theoretical concepts. Coding was done in several different, mostly R-based, programs, which required understanding and basic knowledge of computational understanding and technical skills Referent: PD Dr. Ulrich Sieberer
