Oct. 2013AnywhereI have now decided to move into the world of contracting to take full advantage of my wide and varied experience in the world of Databases in general and SQLServer in particular. Contracts completed in the City of London working as a DBA/SQL Developer at ICG Plc., developer DBA with ASE(Global) in Manchester, developer DBA with Bet365 in Stoke and as a development DBA with Webroot Inc. working on Customer Support and Console systems. Now having spent 9 months on site as a contract DBA at EMaC Ltd in Crewe, I provided remote support to them from Thailand for a further 9 months while I was teaching full time here. Currently providing trouble shooting and advisory remote support to a growing list of clients in uk including Drayton Press, Retailsmart, TotalFitness. I have also been in Thailand on short term contracts university lecturing in computer studies. During that time I became qualified as a teacher of English to foreign language students with the Cambrdge University diploma called CELTA. For some time, I have acted as a regular, remotely based, SQL Server consultant (general recommendations, performance, tuning and troubleshooting) for MyMobile in Dublin. This is an ongoing occasional committment.
