• Recruitment of sessional lecturers, tutors, supervisors, job advertisement, shortlisting, arranging interview, documents check
• Assist in verification of suitability of potential Sessionals through co-ordination with Head of Academic Group, Campus Deans and accreditation bodies On boarding process • Liaise with JCU Australia for enrolment and renewal of sessional IDs
• Assist in relevant orientations, briefings, training, development programs Ensure the Sessionals complete the on boarding process Maintain an updated register/database of all sessional lecturers/tutors/supervisors • Liaise with Sessionals for any updates in their personal and academic data
• Disseminate this information to internal and external parties as and when required Contract preparation for sessional academic staff • Liaise with Academic Planning Department, on appointment of Sessionals • Prepare contracts and obtain endorsements before the commencement of each study period
• Prepare the contract summary for each study period after the confirmation of the contracts Payment for Sessionals
• Compile attendance of sessional lecturer activity
• Preparation and finalisation of sessional payslips and submit to Finance Department
• Submission of CPF, statutory requirements
• Co-ordinate with Finance Department regarding verification and payment of sessional staff.
• Send the payment advise to Sessionals Provide support and assistance on relevant statutory compliance requirements
• Sessional registration & documentation for submission to CPE • Ensure documents & evidence are audit ready at any point in time
• Verification of academic qualifications of Sessionals
• Administer work pass exempt notifications and processing
• Ensure eligible hiring status for Sessionals
• Ensure detailed documentation of necessary evidence on compliance including contracts, registration, verification
