— Run staffing reports and submit timely and error-free invoices to higher management to process for submission to cruise lines
— Ensure staff is paid for online training by evaluating reports and submitting hours to payroll — Train staff and management team on the new workforce planning tool, Beeple, that Intercruises recently implemented
—- Developed easy-to-understand troubleshooting procedures
—- Draft multiple communications for staff, and distribute using the campaign tool within the system
—- Provide introductory orientation on the system, showing how to set their availability, properly accept assignments, clock in and out for a shift, and the message management team regarding any assignment issues Also, when needed:
- Check in guests embarking on cruises departing Port Tampa Bay
— Operate check-in systems for various cruise lines
— Assist in terminal in whatever capacity required by the Pier Supervisor
- Assist guests debarking cruises arriving at Port Tampa Bay
— Provide terminal directional services
— Assist guests with luggage retrieval
- Work as Pier Coordinator
— Deal with unique guest issues, such as denials, parental consent documentation, and proper travel identification — Interface with ship’s guest services team to mitigate guest issues, including luggage retrieval as required - Work as Pier Supervisor — Run the entire turn operation alongside or on behalf of the manager on duty
— Ensure staff is positioned in the terminal properly to allow for smooth operations
— Be the liaison between the terminal staff and ship staff on all aspects of a full turnaround
