Responsibilities included: * Facilitating planning of the historic restoration and redevelopment of the Old Chicago Post Office; served as City and Government Liaison and Coordinator with multiple agencies and professionals ▪ Facilitated & negotiated contracts on owner's behalf for track fan ventilation repairs, tunnel repairs, facade inspections, window repairs, life safety issues ▪ Reduced operating costs of multiple buildings included in the property ▪ Worked on easements in conjunction with Amtrak, IDOT, CDOT, and ComEd ▪ Collaborated with Landmarks, IHPA, National Park Service, historic agencies ▪ Assisted with solving ventilation & track level issues, fan repairs, renovation of exhaust system including relocation, duct cleaning, bioremediation ideas ▪ Worked with local Aldermen, zoning attorneys, architects & engineers developing design plans ▪ Obtained City PUD approval July 2013 ▪ Developed cash flow reports & funding documents on behalf of owner corresponding with $350 million+ estimates, Developed sustainability goals, analyzed historic tax credits, worked with historic advisors, TIF consultants, analyzed federal grant funding in relation to TOD ▪ Maintained contractor relations, controlled costs for repairs, gathered construction estimates for build out for all phases ▪ Consulted on design, best & highest use including renewable energy practices, LEED ▪ Meeting Scheduler, planned workshops, attended conferences, logistics ▪ Played key role in negotiating agreement for purchase of neighboring property, the Sugar House
