Sep. 2002 - May. 2010I was in charge of seeing that everything in my district ran smoothly, and the sales numbers trend above our sales plan monthly. I had a team of in-home sales reps that I managed directly.(Previously I over saw up to 36 individual showrooms, in a regional service role.) My daily job consisted of leading my teams within the field to drive sales, and control our client experiences. Traveling with my team members into client's homes provides coaching and guidance on the job. I began with 3 Day Blinds as a Showroom Manager, and worked within the company under multiple job titles that included; Showroom Manager, Trainer, Regional Service Manager and when the company went through the final reorganization, District Sales Manager. As a District Manager, I oversaw territories in Nevada, helped in Texas, and multiple counties in California.
