Mar. 2019 - Mar. 2020Big Sandy, TXManages the missionary team through spiritual formation, skills training, periodic evaluations, logistical preparation, including calendar assignments , and team assessments. Ensures appropriate facilitation of programmed retreats, and performs regular evaluations of retreat content, quality, and programming delivery. Establishes communication with all group leaders contracted to utilize camp as a component of their school or ministry curriculum. Determines retreat schedules specialized for each group based on needs, requests, and time constraints. Contributes to the executive team collaboration through conversation and planning. Organizes cabin assignments, dietary needs, and budgetary items during the summer camp season. Collaborates with other executive team members to ensure completion of necessary paperwork for all employees and necessary business operations, and to have conversations with the necessary individuals regarding behavior and sensitive issues with staff and campers. Coordinates the annual open house event, Pines Picnic, to welcome new and returning families to camp for a day-long event. Works with a team of collaborators to head and organize the Service Work Week and Counselor in Training programs as specialized options during summer camp. Performs interviews of potential employees of camp.
