Developed and maintained relationships with prospective and current families, agents, alumni, and other constituents. Acted as DSO (Designated School Official) for SEVIS offering I20’s for F1 visas. Responsible for registering, transferring, and otherwise managing all I20’s. Point person for the recertification process through SEVIS. Offered student services to international students on campus by handling travel documents, invitations to visit campus (for extended family), events off campus, and other requests.
Worked with other departments to ensure international needs are met including ESL, specific issues in a class, college/career counseling, etc.
Fundraised for both the international program and funded financial aid program.
Built, promoted, gained sponsorships, and executed the Attack the Castle Race in efforts to get locals on campus and both interested and invested in RMA’s mission. Reviewed applications, transcripts, and other supporting documentation to make admissions decisions. This includes SLEP, TOEFL, and other international specific testing and documentation.
Planned and coordinated international travel for recruiting and marketing agendas by utilizing current families and alumni to connect them with prospective families.
Worked to connect constituents to expand and strengthen the RMA family, mission, and advancement goals. Ran queries and evaluated numbers for enrollment as well as meeting enrollment goals that are set by the Dean of Enrollment.
Reviewed need based financial aid applications and contacting families to determine aid amounts.
Maintained budgets for both international admissions and financial aid. Conducted research including trends in tuition amounts and financial aid policies for surrounding boarding schools, current and emerging markets for recruiting purposes, programming similar institutions offer and suggested changes from the result of that research.
