After diploma I worked in company Termo d.d. (later Knaufinsulation d.o.o.) as maintenance manager for 5 years. Mean time my occupation was as vice production manager for some time as well. Later I joined the designing department when first I developed the equipment for rock mineral wool (RMW) production as designer, after that I worked as project manager for a few years. For the last five years I worked as Plant support engineer RMW, where I was responsible for spare parts and maintenance strategy for all RMW plants (6 plants over Europe). My work is close related to the projects for more than 30 years. Details of the major projects as follows: from November 2024 to December 2024 Changing of the curing oven filter duct – RMW Knaufinsulation Škofja Loka (Slovenia) – designer + project manager Because of the fire damage the duct of 80m length has to be changed. To prevent further fires in the duct, we installed temperature sensors and safety flap. The installation was very demanding, because of avoiding the existing ducts and high above the 20 m from the floor. from January 2023 to June 2024 Optimization of rock mineral wool production (RMW) - company Basaltwool (Mongolia) – EBRD adviser As a consultant to the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), he led the project to optimize rock mineral wool production in Basaltwool company in Ulambator city. The aim of the project is to introduce new technologies and increase the efficiency and productivity of the rock wool production line. The main focus was on the improvement of the cupola furnace. from January 2014 to February 2015 Bearing monitoring of larger fans in stone wool factories in Europe – RMW Knaufinsulation (all Europe plants) – plant support engineer Due to the need for more efficient production and reduced downtime, we decided to monitor bearings on larger fans (100kW+) using SKF equipment. Regular monitoring of events and expert monthly reports from SKF provide the opportunity for optimal maintenance. from January 2013 to October 2013
