Mar. 2006 - Jun. 2019Johannesburg Metropolitan AreaRESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT VISA I had responsibility for the following countries as a Country Manager – Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Seychelles. Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho. and Swaziland . My responsibilities included sales and relationship management. I also had a regional responsibility for Pan Regional clients. My experience in these markets has given me an in-depth knowledge of the requirements of Visa’s clients and the opportunities that are available for Visa’s growth. I am also aware that there is a lot of potential for net new revenue in the commercial card space in Sub Saharan Africa. This sector is under-penetrated mainly due to the engagement models that we currently have that focus mainly on Retail Banking. The same is true for the public sector. Governments are looking for solutions to make revenue collection easier as well as make disbursement of funds seamless, allow for ease of tracking and reconciliations. EXPERIENCE
