John Yeo is an experienced educator, coach, author, and consultant specialising in the area of change leadership, innovation and communications. He is a master trainer for different programmes and consults for clients using Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving and Intention-based Communication. He has trained extensively throughout Asia, especially in China, India, Denmark, Myanmar, Philippines and Singapore. He was working for Asian Development Bank as an education and edtech consultant. As part of the international task force that developed and designed evaluation and assessment frameworks to support digital reform for Asian countries. He has a knack for start-ups involved in disruptive innovation. John consulted for two tech-related firms i.e. Apeman (Shenzhen) and Bwell Consulting (Canada), to expand and diversify their products and services beyond China and the US market. He has previously served as a high school educator and a school leader- both in Singapore and in Korea. With an eye for all things innovative, he has an active interest in conducting human-centred research from his lecturing stint (2010-2015). John was the first Asian recipient of the Ruth B. Noller research grant for his consultancy work in Creative Problem Finding. This annual award by the U.S. Creative Education Foundation supports emerging, paradigm-shifting research with high potential for impact in the field of creativity.
